One of the most solid sources I’ve found for generating income with my writing is a site called Constant Content. The site offers different opportunities, depending on what kind of writing you want to do. If you like to select your own topics, and simply write what you feel like writing (hopefully with some kind of method to your madness for the sake of monetizing), you can do that. However, Constant Content also provides writers a chance to write on spec, usually as a ghostwriter, though oftentimes limited rights and a byline maybe retained. This is the area I like to write for because it means writing articles that are just as the category describes them, “Requested Content”. Customers are specifically asking for the information you’ll be writing about. Even though other writers will also respond to the requests, your writing still has a chance to be selected for purchase. This is especially so when customers request multiple articles to be written on the same subject.

Constant Content has a very good Writer’s Compensation program and I have had a great deal of success in signing writers up to write for pay. That’s actually the easy part, but in all honesty, the writers that sign up HURRIEDLY and don’t bother to use the valuable information I’ve provided (completely free of charge), end up fizzling out. Another favorite and profitable writer’s website of mine is HubPage. I most especially like the HubPages community of writers. They’re real friendly and not only eager to learn but eager to share what they know. But when it comes to writing for pay, HubPages is more than just a friendly writing community and they are not to be underestimated.
HubPages is a very diverse writing community and it’s easy to get sidetracked with all the “networking”. I have mentioned that I am still compiling information on the e-How website, however, I felt it was necessary to still mention them in this area because it is another site that I make money on. I’ve read information indicating the revenue that is generated at the e-How website is due to Google Ads, but they are apparently positioned exclusively by the e=How and/or Google site. I never set up any ads for my e-How articles, nor do I recall selecting anything that indicated I was designating ad placements. Yet, I have earned a few dollars from a couple of my articles posted there and my monies continue to grow.

Because e-How has such a fun and informal format (especially compared to Constant Content), I recommend writing for them, just to add some diversity to your writing agenda. While you actually earn money in a different way, and the rules aren’t as rigid, you can still earn a nice bit of change, that will continue to increase over time.
