SECOND In Series: Generating Income
Here are ten popular writing for pay sites on the web. Most of them, I have personally generated cash from, by the various ways I discussed in the FIRST segment of this series. The others were referred to me by writer friends who are currently making money writing for pay with one or more of these sites. The following summary/descriptions only provide a brief ideal about the sties, so please be sure to visit and check them out for yourself, AFTER you complete the remaining 3 segments in this Write For Pay – Five Part Series. Since I know you’re anxious to know more, in the THIRD segment of the series, I have provided you with more detail about 3 of the websites that you see listed below. They are: Constant Content, e-How, and HubPages. These are the three that are particular favorites of mine, and also profitable.

Article Base (websites’s summary)http://www.articlesbase.com/writing-articles/5-selfpublishing-ways-to-earn-continous-cash-from-a-single-article-2999.html“
Many of us will write high quality articles, but we don't have many site visitors to read our work. At ArticlesBase.com you can submit an article and have literally thousands of readers worldwide as your article is syndicated around the globe. Many people visit ArticlesBase.com to gather free articles and display them on their websites.”
Article Income (websites’s summary) https://www.articleincome.com/
"Write anything that's on your mind. Everyone has their own passions and thoughts about what we call life. Whether you're a college student, stay-at-home mom, freelance writer or someone in between, you have a place here at ArticleIncome.com.”
Associated Content (websites’s summary)http://www.associatedcontent.com/
"Associated Content publishes authentic, useful and informative content on nearly every conceivable topic, produced by real people sharing real-world expertise from diverse perspectives.”
Bukisa.com (websites’s summary)
http://www.bukisa.com/
Bukisa is a revenue sharing site similar to Hub Pages and others that revolve around contextual advertising. Bukisa’s payout threshold is only $10.
Constant Content
http://www.constant-content.com/?aref=12612
(more on this site in THIRD segment in this series)
Article Writing for this site presents a challenge, but is well worth your efforts. They implicitly require polished writing and will not (knowingly) let the least little error slide. The pay for “Requested Content” at this site can range anywhere from $10 to $200! It’s worth any extra submission inconveniences. (This site, I particularly endorse, although in some cases, it requires patience getting past the submission process. I’ve made the majority of my online cash writing for pay for this site)
e-How
http://www.ehow.com/
(more on this site in THIRD segment in this series)e-How is one of the most fun and easy writing sites online (to me). Why I’m still not clear on the source of income, I get a few dollars trickling in here and there. The great thing about them, is the topics can be short and crazy, everyday stuff. If you can explain the necessary steps involved in doing “something”, you can write an e-How article!
HubPages
http://hubpages.com/_1ovv9yu4jm4gp/user/new/
(more on this site in THIRD segment in this series)
HubPages provides revenue sharing as well as a great opportunity for article referring. The members are extremely friendly and make it a helpful and fun community, so it’s easy to get distracted from your objective, which is to earn money! The key at HubPages is staying focused. Creating useful hubs can be very profitable.
Shvoong
http://shvoong.com/write/
“No original content should be submitted. Shvoong's goal is summarizing human knowledge, so all texts submitted must be summaries of existing texts. We do not deal with creative writing at this point…Any summary or review of a previously published book, article or newspaper, an existing website, movie or an academic paper will be welcome. Write your abstracts in your own words."
Suite 101 (websites’s summary)
http://www.suite101.com/
“Applicants are asked to submit two writing samples for review. Your application will be reviewed within 48 hours and you can expect to receive an email indicating your application approval or denial. Once your application is approved, you can get started right away! Get published, get paid, and participate in our professional writers’ community.”
Triond (websites’s summary)
https://www.triond.com/
“Once your content is submitted and approved, we will publish it on a website within our publishing network that best suits your topic and target audience... Triond helps showcase your content so your work gets maximum readership and you earn recognition. As soon as your content is published, it begins generating revenue from several income sources, such as display and contextual advertising that appears on the pages of your content. We share with you 50% of the revenue generated by your content.”
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
As previously mentioned, there are three particular websites above that have really proven to be of a big help to me. When it comes to writing for pay, and learning about writing for pay, I have these sites to thank for the knowledge I’ve accumulated. In order to get a more in depth view on Constant Content and HubPage, the next segment in this series will help you tremendously. You can get information that will save you many hours and countless headaches. I discuss a lot of the snares and pitfalls of writing for pay and properly monetizing your writing. As for eHow, it is a website that I like a lot, but I’m still learning about the ins and outs. I’ve worked with it long enough to know it also has money making potential, but tapping into the “how” and “why” of it all is very important. Nonetheless, I’ve provided a little bit more info. on the site in the next series. Please enjoy reading the THIRD post in this series.
